I have attached a set of results from our first Trial at AMCA Beavercoates, I think its a good venue that we can build on, a big thank you goes to Mark, Shaun, and the Team for finding 8 good sections that were ridden over 5 Laps
Rob Gowler had a fine ride to finish the day all clean followed by a host of regular Experts on single figures. section4 on the Expert route turned out to be the most consistent mark taker which didn’t get any easier over the 5 Laps.
Inter route rider Nigel Taylor clinched another class win, he had his only dad on section 5, the hill climb. Inter route riders found the Expert route on section 6 the most technical, with a tricky climb up a cambered ledge to a tight right hand turn. Again a hand full of rider in this class finished the day on single figures.
Clubman route was won by Richard James on his Vintage 2 Stroke on 3 marks lost, closely followed by Jes Flower on 4 marks, Dave Pykett, Pete Wilson and Chris Bacon made up the riders finishing on single numbers. It was good to welcome a couple of new members, with Callum Richardson and Neil Bramley joining us for the first time; all be it that Neil may still have a little work to do on his newly acquired Bantam.
Thank you to all our Riders and Observers that made it over to Beavercoates, also thanks to John Wilkinson for another fine set of pictures. Please keep an eye on the website for news about our next event. MG
